Play: Short Getaway to Desaru October 2013 (Part 2)

For dinner, we had a great meal at this very authentic Korean restaurant (or should i say residence). This diner place is opened by this Korean uncle and he host his guests in his house. There are only 5 tables so if you would like to come during a weekend, you do need to make reservation. As our trip to Desaru was not during the peak time, we did not make any reservation.

The menu is very simple, two types of set meal. RM 140 for 2-3 pax and RM 190 for 3-4pax. You will get to choose one dish from the 4 types shown, one soup (either kimchi or soybean paste soup), you will have rice and some side dishes. we choose the beef vermicilli and kimchi soup.

These are our food for the day.
Beef vermicelli. i think this is too sweet to our liking...
This kimchi soup is really very yummy. Very different from what we usually have. this is very flavourful and i can taste tuna in them.... maybe that is the magic ingredient?
Some of the appetiser.... the preserved seaweed is very nice....

And this is how it looks inside the house. really very homely.....the owner also keep coming and play with the kids but en xin cried when he saw the owner.. so the owner has to hide hide a bit :p

I think qin is also a bit scared but she didnt cry cause later on, she said she is a bit scared but she just eat to ease her fear....

And here is my little cute model... very cute and pretty girl.
To those interested, this is the address and phone number to make the reservation.

At night, after di di sleeps, it is puzzle time for mummy and girl girl....

Breakfast is included in the package, served at Palm Brassiere Restaurant near the lobby. Not much choices but it is good enough.... only thing is the fruits wasnt very fresh....

Kids enjoying the breakfast

After breakfast , it is sand time... kids enjoy the sand. En xin is getting better at playing sand. During our last trip to kuantan, he actually ate quite a bit of sand, keep showing the sand into his mouth but now, he doesnt do that anymore... good improvement :D

To end our trip, we had lunch at TGIF, JB... no more weekday lunch deal... "sob sob"

Qin enjoying her kids meal, fish and chips...

Overall, we had a great and relaxing trip....
